People sometimes inquire how our cemetery can maintain
itself if ever full and no longer generating income from lot & marker
sales, interment fees, etc.
Minnesota law requires us to collect an additional 20% of
any inground lot sales we make and 10% on any niche or mausoleum or above
ground space. These percentages are
placed in a Perpetual Care Trust Fund whereby the principle remains untouched
and the interest is used to maintain the cemetery
Grandview also sells Burial Vaults: Standard Burial Vaults: $1100
Cremation Burial Vaults: $325 (not required)
